| RI 14 Poplar Point latitude 41° 34' 15.6" N longitude 71° 26' 21.8" W A private residence since 1894, the house has been much enlarged. However, the well-preserved light tower is the oldest surviving wooden lighthouse in the nation. Located at the entrance to Wickford Harbor in North Kingstown. There's a good view from Sauga Point on the other side of the harbor entrance. Rhode Island Bay Cruises offers a 10 Lighthouses of Narragansett Bay cruise that passes by the Poplar Point Lighthouse.
