Roughly eleven miles north of Florence, turn off of Highway 101 into the Heceta Head Lighthouse State Scenic Viewpoint. After paying the Oregon day use fee, you can hike (1/2 mile) up the hill to the keeper's quarters and lighthouse. park
The tarp should be removed before December 2012. Major damage was repaired and then fully repainted in and out. ARLHS # USA-368 (G 4486)
