The original lighthouse was 300 m to the south. Like Great Orme, the light station was built by the Mersey Docks and Harbour Board and transferred to Trinity House in 1973. Located on Point Lynas, about 1 km north of Llaneilian. ARLHS # WAL 019 (A 5160)
