This lighthouse is not to be confused with the Point of Ayre light on the Isle of Man the Point of Ayr Lighthouse in Wales, or the Ayr Harbour light on the Firth of Clyde. The original lighthouse here was replaced by a new structure in 2001. This light is located near the south point of the Isle of Raasay, northeast of Skye. ARLHS # SCO-077 (A 3909.6)
