This lighthouse marks the north side of the entrance to the Gulf of Izmit, a narrow eastward arm of the Sea of Marmara. The house is clearly in use, but we do not know for what purpose. Located on a prominent cape about 3 km west of Darica. photo ARLHS # TUR-054 No photo available
